Artist Description
Montreal bassist Paul de Lotbiniere Harwood is best known as a founding member of the internationally renowned rock group, Mahogany Rush. He adds a dynamic stage presence and strong improvisational skills to any combo. Paul is always in the zone, pacing bands with precision crafted, stone grooves and sensitive, subtle nuances. During his 12 album, 29 year career, he has also performed with many of Montreal's artists, Nanette Workman, April Wine's Brian Greenway, Jim Zeller and countless more. Although primarily recognized as a rock musician, Paul's first musical love was and is the electric blues, turning on to Paul Butterfield, B.B.King, Mike Bloomfield and Johnny Winter during the great white blues revival of the late sixties.
