Artist Description
Linda Merrell or Linda Merrell and the Notes are perfect for large or small venues, and their style of music can be tailored for any occasion. Personnel include the core quartet of lead vocalist, piano, bass and drums, and the Notes can add or subtract from there. Saxophone, flute, percussion and guitar are also available. The ensemble plays traditional jazz, ballads, contemporary, soft blues and standards that make for a truly unique sound and entertaining evening. The group has performed at venues including EJ's Jazz Cafe, "The Sierra Arts Foundation", created and hosted the 3rd Street Blues Jazz jams and performed numerous public and private venues throughout the Reno/Carson/Lake Tahoe area.
