Artist Description Jerry Spikula was born in Castro Valley, CA, and has been in the Northern Nevada area since 1979. Jerry has been a professional musician and recording engineer in the Reno, NV area for many years. In the early eighties he toured the western U.S. & Canada with the touring act "Close Call" and eventually founded the band "Rock Animal Cookbook" which took him all over the U.S. & over seas. Between 1992 and 2003 Jerry played with many Reno-based bands such as "Band On The Run", "Impact", "Madison Avenue" and "Mansion". Jerry will also often play with major artists when they come to the Northern Nevada area including the Gatlin Brothers, Commander Cody & Chuck Berry. Jerry's versatile style and attention to detail also keep him busy in various recording studios throughout Nevada & California. He has a variety of different basses, including an upright, to make sure he always has the right instrument for the job.
