Artist Description A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Milligan has resided in the Western United States since 1980. He has performed as a solo artist in Louisiana, Oregon, Idaho, Washington and Nevada. Among his major influences as a songwriter are James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and Crosby, Stills, & Nash resulting in his three-decade long career in the genres of folk, pop, rock and blues. An evening of listening to Milligan's songs will evoke a broad range of emotions from joy and hope, to sadness and melancholy...the entire spectrum of the human experience. His lyrics will cause one to ponder their own life's journey as he shares his own life's path with his audience through his songs.
